Split Fiction looks to be another strong seller for Hazelight Studios, with the co-op action adventure now having reached the 4 million sales milestone.

The figure is confirmed on social media:

Publisher EA also released its latest financial report, in which it describes the game's "hugely successful launch" as a highlight of its financial year.

Interestingly, the game is selling at a more rapid pace than its famously strong-selling predecessor, It Takes Two.

Hazelight's previous title has sold more than 20 million copies thus far, but Split Fiction could well overtake it if its momentum keeps going.

The game has sold 4 million in about two months; It Takes Two took nearly seven months to sell 3 million.

All these numbers are super impressive, anyway, and it's clear Hazelight has struck gold with its co-op focused adventures.

Both games are getting movie adaptations, with Split Fiction's having reportedly attracted some big Hollywood names already.
