It sure feels like we talk about Kluge Interactive's VR rhythm title Synth Riders a lot, no?
Fresh off a free update last month, Synth Riders is receiving yet another new pack of songs to peruse. Featuring some hits from ā gulp ā 30 years ago, the 90s Rock Music Pack offers yet another diverse soundscape in the tapestry of DLC for this title.
While we weren't terribly impressed with the song selection in the Current Wave Music Pack, this latest batch is sure to include some more crowd pleasers. And better yet, it's available now!
Fans of the original Rock Band will recognize a few names on this last, with the pack offering some of the pillars of 90s rock. For anyone grabbing this latest pack, you can look forward to playing:
- Red Hot Chili Peppers - Give It Away
- Blur - Song 2
- Soundgarden - Black Hole Sun
- Radiohead - Creep
- The Presidents Of The United States Of America - Lump
This pack features some pretty notable songs with proven track records in rhythm games ā particularly Black Hole Sun-- though sadly this pack does not include one of Synth Riders' beloved Experiences. It's still a heavy-hitting setlist, however.
The pack is available for $7.99 as a bundle, though, of course, you can pick up the songs individually for $1.99. Is this something you'll be getting? Do you like this pack more than the last one? Less? Sound off in the comments below.

Like all of them except song 2 which has been used on everything ever forever
@janineking Woooooo hoo š
Oh yeah I love 4 of those 5 and like the other so Iām buying this as soon as I get off work
@janineking It does seem like a pretty fun fit for the game at least haha.
Honestly, I find that usually if my reaction to a song in VR rhythm games is either a shrug or active displeasure, they end up always having the most fun charts. Which sucks in a way, but hey at least it makes the song more tolerable? haha
Interesting, when a game called Synth Raiders, moves away from Synth
That's what I liked about Synth Raiders, compared to beat saber, that is stuck to a genre. Hope they don't move away completely from "Synth".
Creep on Synth Riders is like a Kobe Bryant Celtics jersey, ridiculous, no matter how good the song is.
@Fritz167 You should run, Run, RUUUUNNNN, RUUUUNNNNNN, RUUUUUUUUUUUNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!
