I will definitely get it once it's $20 or under 👍 it's still pretty gross adding so much monetization to a clear kids game, they really aren't able to feel any shame.

Prove it Jim where are your first party developed Japanese games? I know you can do a little better than Astro! cute little games but not exactly oozing with lore, story, characters, gameplay!

Sure I will probably whine a little when it's confirmed by Sony but once the dust settles there will be one sitting in my living can't even lie 🤷

I'm very happy it's dropping last gen as all companies should by now but if they are putting it on Switch they might as well put it on PS4 and get some of that money?

Unless the Switch version is cloud based I don't see why they wouldn't go for the extra cash? I'm just thinking from a business perspective why they would leave money on the table with them having already technically made a last version 🤔

They all can charge $150 for all I care 🤷 I still have never payed $70 for any game this generation and I have most of the big releases. Those of us who wait for the games to be heavily discounted not only benefit from a cheaper price but from a fully patched experience!

I'm glad a studio is really focused on releasing a game that's very polished and won't require lots of updates just to be acceptable, at the same time this doesn't exactly look like something that needs that kind of attention 😅

I think a complete reboot would be perfect, the story line is all over there place now I hope everything is fresh even the art style and designs of the characters.

Gravity Rush is practically already a playable anime so that should be the easiest and fastest to make. I would also love a very graphic Bloodborne Anime along with Horizon!

It was another Sony studio that didn't make the same old same old just like Japan Studio, If Mm next game isn't an instant hit they will be next on the chopping block.

I never thought I would see the day when possibly some random 600 pound plus guy could realistically compete and earn an Olympic gold medal 🙂

I got my PS5 a little later after launch and I've yet to spend $70 on any game. I also have every mayor first party PS5 game except GOW2 (waiting for that sweet discount!).

If I know within 2-4 months the games will be on sale (plus fully patched!) why would I pay that hefty price tag? I don't have plans on dying anytime soon so I'll happily play the waiting game and get anything with a $70 price tag on sale 🙂

It can absolutely be done on PS4, that's not even debatable. They might have to put a little bit more man power on it, they would also have to use the regular clouds from the base game instead of the new ones but it could still be on PS4 (obviously downgraded but still playable).

Well that's a bit disappointing I really wanted something else like a new IP or Killzone 😕
At the very least I would like a completely new writing staff for part 3! I've enjoyed everything from HFW except the story, characters, dialogue, etc.

You can say allot of things about the writing in Forbidden West but one thing that's not debatable is that is an absolutely gorgeous game, as good as you're going to see on any platform!

I don't suppose it's on the table that they make something else? They divorced Microsoft because they didn't want to make Halo games forever but they will make Destiny forever?

@WallyWest I agree that there's no reason for it to be PS5 only. I'm one of the people screaming at Sony to leave the PS4 behind but since you already released the base game there why not just finish and not screw over PS4 owners that bought the game?

I'm currently finishing HFW Platinum and it's a really beautiful game, I would give it 10/10 in graphics and I'm playing it on performance mode! That said they put too much junk in it, it makes me sigh everytime I have to look at all the icons in the map.

No thanks I wanted it in Hogwarts Legacy! that's the only way I'm willing to play it, I'm not buying a whole other game just for it.

These guys had a fantastic formula that all they needed was to tweak slightly for future games, instead they threw it all in the garbage for a game that less then 5 people are excited for.

I would have preferred they just released it as is and moved on to something else, I predict the delay won't make a difference in the public perception of the game and it will flop harder then Gotham Knights.

I would prefer they just ignore most of Part 2 script and do their own version of it, if people want to watch Joel die so badly they can just replay the game.

Never had a good experience streaming PS3 games let alone anything more advanced than that on PS Now. If this handheld device is real I hope it bombs, flops, fails, goes the way of the Dodo!

This is fantastic news! I've been screaming for years why Mm was stuck in purgatory working on a game that failed commercially, neither Sony or Mm were making money from it so why continue it!? I can't wait to see what they make next!

I thought she was awful but is because of inexperience more than anything, many times it sounded like she was bored and just wanted to say her lines and go home.

That said it's still no excuse to harass her, that said I didn't agree with her statements about casting. The best person for the job should get it regardless of their race and what race they are playing.

@jdv95 I actually prefer there's preemptive backlash so Sony really thinks hard if this would be a good idea to consider in the future. There's little point in backlash if this potential cloud junk is being manufactured and being ready to ship 🤷

Sony have ruined any goodwill they had with Activision so in the scenerio where the deal doesn't go through I would expect Microsoft to immediately ink a deal with Activision (Bobby will sign with a grin) to have COD day one on GP plus exclusive dlc.

Sony will not win this fight even if the deal was somehow stopped. They need to move on and work on something to fight back against cod in the worst case scenario, I hear they have the most talented and creative studios in the world so show us!

I will buy it day one if true! Don't see the problem people weren't forced or urged to buy the PS4 Pro, it was there for the people that wanted a little more from games.

If is similar to Steamdeck and Switch then I will be there day one! If is just Cloud garbage and Remote play junk I wouldn't want one for free, waste of plastic 🤦

If is cloud based then is already dead and I myself hope it bombs worst then the Virtual Boy! Streaming PS3 games in my home with really good internet is already an awful experience, now if I'm able to download all the games locally then we can a serious conversation ✌️

I'm rooting for the game as is the only really polished alternative to Smash, with all those months they can easily add at least 10-15 more characters with more modes and more polished gameplay.

Heck I wouldn't mind if they just straight up copy and pasted most of the Smash mechanics, modes, and movesets 🤷

Man that twitter clip is horrifying, if Capcom put that Ellie in one of their RE games we wouldn't be able to sleep at night anymore.

I echo some of the same sentiments here in that her performance was bad, really bad honestly. That said I'm sure she did the best that she could, it's on Capcom to find people that are professionally trained to voice act not on her.

I wish her success on her future endeavors and hope the trolls get bored fast and move on to something else. But she should not voice act again until she takes some professional voice lessons.

If this doesn't sell people on PSVR2 then I honestly don't know what will 🤷

Takashi Mochizuki is a proven liar? is the first time hearing of this guy so I don't know of him. However if the sales numbers were decent enough you can bet Sony would be gloating about them so his numbers don't seem so far off.

If it was fully backwards compatible I would have jumped in as there's lots of PSVR games I still want to play, but now I have to wait till there's a sizeable library.

Also it needs more games from big established ips not just indie games! from a casual point of view there's only like two games, Horizon and RE Village!

@Korgon That definitely confuses me, Dreams was a commercial failure anyway you look at it. So how are they able to live off a failure that doesn't sell and isn't really making Sony any money?

Or they can actually make a brand new game and leave Dreams to the community! It's time for Mm to move on from this.

@Impossibilium Yeah the game looks up my alley aswell, since Sonic Racing has been sidelined this will be the next best thing! But like you said in about 2 years when there's a ultimate edition with everything included at a discounted price.

Heck I would be willing to pay the $70 if it was the complete experience with everything included, but of course that's not even close to the reality.

I will definitely buy it once it's massively discounted and the season pass is also incredibly super discounted! I really would like to someday meet the person that's going to pay $70+ on a Lego game 😶

The first Mirrors Edge was phenomenal for it's time, I had such an amazing time getting the Platinum for the game. Can't say the same for the 2016 reboot which didn't have the soul (for lack of a better word) and just didn't work as a open world.

I'm a Rocksteady fanatic and love everything they have made which unfortunately ends with Arkham Knight. I have so little interest in this game that I don't think I would play it if I was offered $70 to play it.

Even reading articles about it bores me. I wish there wasn't a delay and instead was moved forward so we can at least put the game behind us, then we just wait for Rocksteady to make a proper follow up to the Arkham universe.

I would love a Sony Superman game! heck I wish Rocksteady was working on a Superman game instead of that other thing that should not be called by name 👀

That would be ridiculous and unnecessary! There hasn't really been a PS5 game that you can show and say "look at the power of the PS5 in all it's glory!" Demon's Souls probably gets the closest but that would be 1 game to show.

I would like a documentary on who in the planet is left that hasn't bought GTA V yet, also another one about the people that are buying it once a month every month in some sort of ritual 😑

This is the one game that I think won't benefit from any kind of delay, it's problems are baked deep into the game. Just release it as is and move on to something else, hopefully something that might actually get people excited 🤷

Well this just got very interesting all of sudden 🙂 can't wait to see those third party deals and the amounts paid! Is obviously going to look terrible if it shows that Sony is paying so Final Fantasy doesn't go to Xbox.

I hope I'm not being too greedy but I want Mass Effect quality level remasters of the trilogy along with remakes of 2&3, I think I'm being very reasonable 🙂

As big DC fan and even bigger fan of Rocksteady's work I will be skipping this completely, I don't even feel like buying if it was under $20.

Looks awful and has everything I hate about current gaming, I will choose to remember Rocksteady how they were before this game.
