Re: Mini Review: Altair Breaker (PSVR2) - Unfinished Online-Only Sword Fighter Doesn't Cut It

@Wheatly Honestly I'd be tired of myself seeking for the killer app on things. When it comes to VR, I enjoy the so-called small experiences more than I would enjoy a 30 hour complex adventure. I think that VR is a matter of focus because it mostly requires consistency, and that consistency is easier to achieve with simpler mechanics. I'm giving it very short sessions anyways... except for a 1 hour long GT7 race from yesterday, but being in a car with the wheel's force feedback feels more natural and causes (at least on me) much less motion sickness. (Tip: if motion sickness is bad try with a wind fan pointing at you, it usually helps a lot).

Re: Poll: Are You Playing Atomic Heart?

@somnambulance Thanks for that info. Looks like the kind of game that has potential as long as the devs support it over time. Maybe next year will be a good time to play it.

Re: Horizon Call of the Mountain (PSVR2) - Pretty Platformer Reaches New Heights

I think there's a tendency across high scores on VR releases and most of it appears to depend on the combat feel.

So exploration and little details are always cool but if you nail the combat you have a winner, and if not you have an amazing demo to showcase to friends.

On the plot... all I can say being blind is that I don't expect it to be as tough as Elden Ring's.

Re: Ken Levine's Next Game, Judas, Will Arrive Sometime Before March 2025

Man.. you can make a game step by step, day by day being a goddamm perfectionist and eventually launch it. Or, you can go with a short development around your idea to keep it as fresh as possible aka Kojima. But what you certainly should not do is being a goddamm purrrfectionist and reboot your fresh idea over and over every time it deviates onto something your purrrfectionism doesn’t accept, having to deal with a break up and all sorts of ***** that happen in such a long time to the point your idea now looks like rubbish in your mind because you are changing! . .of cuorse.

Re: Hardware Review: Thrustmaster T128 - The Perfect Wheel for Beginners

Hi @Abarth_71 I think I'm going to sell both the GT Wheel and pedals coming with the pack, and then gonna buy de ClubSport pedals + an Xbox HUB Wheel cause this way I can use my DD Pro with both PS5 (GT7 mainly) and Series X (Forza Horizon 5 mainly) and enjoy breaking with the load cell, which many say it is actually worth it. I won't start serious on this until January though.

Re: Round Up: Forspoken Previews Prove It's More Than a Meme

@stvevan sh** someone noticed English isn't my language. We will see when it comes out. I'm down for any FF too, and XVI looks great to me, I'm looking forward to it.
@naruball we have a different perception about this first impressions from the press, that's for sure. I don't mean to put down anyone expectations on this game though.

Re: Round Up: Forspoken Previews Prove It's More Than a Meme

lexveem

@stvevan no need complex mental believes, just pure empathy and you'll see from this nice texts that writers had no passion. Guys I'm sorry to break it, I'm just describing you what's been happening around this title and fact is that it doesn't build enough hype for 70 pounds. Hell I wished it ends up being an unexpected hit worth of every penny and a day 1 purchase for me.

Re: Round Up: Forspoken Previews Prove It's More Than a Meme

lexveem

@naruball I think it's a certain soul behind the game what called their attention, and yeah that's already a lot, but for the rest there's no passion at all and that's a sign of weakness. You can have divisive games with polarized opinions on first impressions and expect something interesting at the very least, Forspoke is just not the case.

Re: Tactics Ogre: Reborn Is Getting a Gorgeous 200-Page Companion Artbook

lexveem

I really like this art books, and more specifically those going deeper into the lore. Just too bad I'm not interested in Tactics Ogre at all... Btw an Elden Ring book (2 volumes actually) called "Books of Knowledge" are coming out this year, I have mines preordered and it looks fantastic being a mix of art, lore. strategy guide and atlas.
